Digital odontogram: pick, paint and generate the budget
Pick a diagnosis or a procedure from the palette and click the surface, tooth, arch or whole mouth. What is on the chart is exactly what you clicked, and priced procedures flow into the patient’s budget as you paint.

Who it is for
For general dentists and specialists who fill in a dental chart at every first visit and then have to copy the procedures into a budget by hand.
How it works
-
Pick the brush
Search the palette for a diagnosis (clinic catalogue and ICD-10) or a procedure (clinic catalogue, with its price).
-
Pick the mode
Surface, tooth, arch or whole mouth. A veneer goes on a tooth; a splint on the arch; orthodontics on the whole mouth.
-
Paint on the chart
Every click applies the brush; clicking the same place again removes it. It saves on its own a second and a half after your last click.
-
Generate the budget
The panel quotes every priced procedure not yet done. Per-tooth procedures are counted per tooth; arch or mouth ones once.
What it includes
-
FDI notation, permanent and primary
Upper arch on top, lower below, from the patient’s right (18 → 28, 48 → 38). One click adds the primary dentition (51–85).
-
Diagnosis and procedure lists
Everything painted also appears in two lists with tooth, face and name, where you add observations and set each procedure as pending, in progress or done.
-
Several odontograms per patient
A new treatment plan is a new odontogram; earlier ones are never overwritten and each shows its progress and budgets.
-
The plan carries across visits
At a follow-up, copy the chart or only what is pending into today’s visit and mark procedures done as you complete them.
-
Prices frozen on the chart
Colour, name, code and price are copied when you paint: changing the catalogue later does not alter a chart already recorded.
Frequently asked questions
Which notation does the odontogram use?
FDI, for permanent (11–48) and primary (51–85) teeth. The mesial face always points to the midline, so it sits on the right in quadrants 1, 4, 5 and 8 and on the left in the others.
Where do diagnoses and procedures come from?
Diagnoses come from your clinic’s catalogue and ICD-10. Procedures come from your clinic’s catalogue, with the price the budget will use.
How does it become a budget?
The budget panel quotes as you paint. Once generated it appears in Budgets like any other, with per-line discounts and ready to record payments.
Can I undo a click?
Yes, with Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on Mac). Clicking the same place again also removes the mark.
